On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Emmanuel Church of the United Church of Christ, also known as Hills Church, will host a block party to “Meet Your Neighbors.” The party begins at 5 and lasts until 8 p.m. at the church, 3618 Hills Church Road, Murrysville.
Food will be available for purchase (cash only) from Leena’s Mediterranean Food and Penn State Creamery Ice Cream from Salsa Sam’s. Face-painting, balloon animals, a clown, music and games will be offered free of charge. This is a good opportunity to meet your neighbors, enjoy dinner, and relax.
As part of the Block Party, the church is inviting members and friends to support Hoffman Homes for Youth in Littlestown, PA. Hoffman Homes for Youth is a psychiatric residential treatment program for children suffering with mental health diagnoses and behavioral issues. We are seeking donations of new clothing, gently used games, toys, makeup, personal items, school supplies, as well as monetary donations.
