Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
It is a lovely May day on God’s hill!
Look at this little man above! He’s reading his bible! And what does that smile on his face mean? Is he happy to be reading the Bible? Of course! Does he want the photographer to stop taking the photo and he wants to get back to the book at hand?
Come on over to the church tonight and find out the ONE right way to read the Bible! There are an estimated 45,000 Christian denominations in the world and we all claim to read the same Bible! How can this be?
Bring your other questions. Am I in trouble if I ate candy during Lent? Why does the creed say Jesus descended into hell? Why are there candles on the altar? What is a graven image? And so on and so forth.
