Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
Good morning and happy Friday to you in this, Emmanuel Church’s 200th Anniversary Year! Although all our plans have been changed and upended, ministry still happens and we still care about YOU!
Sunday’s worship is part of our Fall Theme: God’s Purpose and Promises. In this week’s lesson, the people of Israel entirely miss the point of God’s purpose and almost miss out on all God’s promises in creating the Golden Calf. My sermon, which will wrestle with this text is called, “When You Shouldn’t Listen to God.” I hope you will worship with us on Sunday (with masks and Covid precautions in person) or by watching the live stream.
This Sunday is a big project for Murrysville, done this year remotely. Emmanuel Church is sponsoring a CROP team to fight hunger!
