The Star In My Heart
While all the world is aglow with bright lights and Christmas Muzak everywhere, even before Thanksgiving, the time before Christmas, the preparation for the coming Messiah, is to be a time of introspection and self-awareness. Because we are Christians we are different from the rest of the world which is so busy buying and selling that it hardly notices that the BIG EVENT in the appearance of God’s face through the person of Jesus. During Advent Meredith Hutchison will be offering an opportunity to look inward so that we can have an outlook that makes us Christ’s body in the world. We will meet on December 5th, 12th and 19th to find the star in our hearts, that inner wisdom which in Greek is called Sophia. We will begin at 10:00AM and finish about noon.
