It’s a beautiful Friday on God’s hill! Give thanks to God for this beautiful day! We here at Emmanuel Church have a lot to be thankful for. We wanted to reach out and say ‘thanks’ to you for supporting the needs of the congregation and community as we are on the cusp of our 200th Anniversary year!
This Sunday we will express our thankfulness to God in worship around the theme of the Prophet Isaiah, Chapters 5 & 11. We will be continuing our series: “What’s In A Name?” It is also our Noisy Collection Sunday and we are continuing to collect for the Food Bank. Worship is at 10:15 a.m.
Do you want to win $100? Do you know someone who likes to draw? Enter the logo contest and have your logo picked for the 200th Anniversary year. The theme is: “On God’s Hill.” Contact the office for more information.
This ministry of Emmanuel Church has touched so many lives, with blankets delivered to people close to home and far away. Since it’s inception about 2 years ago, we have delivered 72 blankets!!! We pray over them in worship and as we are making them and each one is sent with a personal message of love. All are invited to this important ministry. The next meeting is this Sunday, November 17. We will be going out to lunch after worship and then returning to the church for our prayer time. Talk to Pastor Joseph or Julie Keibler if interested.
Youth GroupYouth group meets Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. and then again at Sky Zone on Saturday, November 23rd from 8:45 to 11 p.m. Talk to Heather Clark for more information.
