Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
It’s a clear and somewhat warm Friday up on God’s hill!
This Sunday, December 16th is the Third Sunday in Advent. At 10:15 a.m. we will have worship and focus on the Advent Candle/Theme of JOY. After worship, our Prayer Angels will meet together to make a blanket. At 2:30 p.m., I will be leading worship at Redstone Highlands in Murrysville.
Monday, December 17: Choir at 7 pm.
Tuesday, December 18: Bible Study.
Sunday, December 23: Adult Sunday School at 9 a.m.
Worship at 10:15–With the Choir Christmas Cantata
Monday, December 24: 7 p.m. Worship with Candlelight and Communion Theme: “The Bells of Christmas.”

Here is an example of one of our handmade Prayer Angels Blankets. We make these for people with chronic health conditions to remind them of God’s love and the friends they have at Emmanuel Church. Since the start of the program two years ago, your contributions have helped us make and deliver 60 (!) prayer blankets. You can help by meeting with the Prayer Angels after worship on the third Sunday of every month.
