Dear friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
It’s a warm February morning on God’s Hill!
This Sunday, February 18th will be our Youth/Children’s Service. The children will be presenting on the theme: “Lord, Teach us to pray.” This is the request that Jesus’ disciples made to him right before he taught them the Lord’s Prayer.
The Noisy Collection will be this week as well and we will be collecting for the 
Westmoreland County Beekeepers Association. A few representatives from the Association will be here to explain to us what they do and to receive the offering. This is part of the 3 Great Loves Initiative of the United Church of Christ that we are participating in for 2018-2019: Love of Neighbor, Love of Children, and Love of Creation.
Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m., the Prayer Angels will meet to put together a prayer blanket.
Next Wednesday is the First Mid-Week Lenten Service at Hill’s at 7:30 with our Cluster Church Partners. We are still looking for people to bring some food. The theme on Wednesday, February 21st will be Connecting with God through his Creation.
