It’s a beautiful Wednesday morning up on God’s hill!
The schedule for this weekend is as follows:
Saturday, December 23rd is our Last December Evening Meditation Service at 5 p.m. If you’ve never tried meditation before, now is your chance. In our meditation, we will be accompanying Joseph and Mary on their trip to Bethlehem.
Sunday, December 24th at 10:15 a.m. is our Choir & Carols Service. The Worship will shaped around the message of Christmas through song. Your favorite carols will be featured. Communion will be offered by intinction, coming up to the front of the sanctuary. The Choir Cantata is called “A Candlelight Christmas” and features some of your favorite carols including “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” “Silent Night,” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Come and hear what the choir has prepared to share!

At 7 p.m. is our Christmas Eve candlelight service: “From Adam to Jesse to Jesus to You” This service will include a children’s choir, Scripture readings, communion and ends with the sharing of the light of Christ. The service will trace the story of humankind’s salvation through a Jesse tree, the family tree of Jesus. (Pictured is a Stained Glass Detail of the Jesse Tree from Southern France. Jesse was King David’s father and, therefore, ancestor of Jesus.) The nursery will be staffed Sunday night for the littlest ones among us. Communion at the 7 p.m. service will be pew communion.
See you in church!
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Joseph
