A Letter From The EMMANUEL CHURCH team
Dear friends and members of EMMANUEL REFORMED CHURCH,
It is a beautiful day up on God’s hill! We have some very exciting things planned in the next couple of weeks and have had a wild summer. Thanks for your continued support of Emmanuel Church. Your contribution of time, money, and ideas have impacted the mission and ministry we are able to do here and around the world.
This Sunday, the sermon is based on 2 Samuel 7, David’s building of the Temple for God. We will also be taking the Noisy Collection for flood relief in Louisiana. To read about relief efforts or to donate, check here. (And designate the donation to Louisiana flooding in the appropriate box).
Prayer Angels–Sunday at 6 p.m.
Our prayer volunteers meet monthly to pray for healing for members of our community and make a prayer blanket to donate to them. We have two blankets to make Sunday night. Come along and be part of God’s healing ministry.
Jimmy Stewart Museum
The Program Committee will be meeting at 9 a.m. at the church on Friday, August 26th to visit Indiana, PA and the Jimmy Stewart Museum along with lunch at a local Indiana restaurant. Cost for the museum is 8 dollars or 7 dollars for seniors.
