In Memoriam: Today, Saturday, August 6th, is the memorial service for Lois Thompson of Elizabethtown, PA. The service is at 1 p.m. and interment is in Emmanuel Cemetery immediately following. Her obituary may be found here. Please join me in praying for the Thompson family.
This Sunday in our theme, “2016–The Year of the Bible,” we will be looking at 1 Samuel 8–the request of the Israelites for a king. In addition, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper and be welcoming a new member!
I will be leading worship on Sunday afternoon at Redstone Highlands at 2:30. All are welcome.
Tuesday morning is Bible Study at 10 a.m. We are studying the Book of Romans, Chapter 8.
Wednesday evening, August 10th is Consistory.
