Dear friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
It is a beautiful morning up on the hill!
God has been doing some great things recently in church and in people’s lives! I hope you will want to be part of it.
This Sunday we will celebrate God the Father sending Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit on their mission to save all people with our Pentecost Worship. As a sign of this mission, we will confirm two youth into fully living out that mission–Bella Baughman and Ethan Lightner! It will also be a communion service, as well as the Joyful Noise Collection. Wear red since that is the traditional color of Pentecost!
Sunday night at 6 p.m. the Prayer Angels will meet to put together a blanket. This ministry has been taking off and has been changing people’s lives, so get involved.
Monday night will be choir at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s Bible Study is Cancelled due to a scheulde conflict.
Looking ahead:
- June 12th–Festival Worship and Picnic at Hill’s with Bishop Elorde Sambat of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines and the University of the Philippines Choir. 10:15 a.m.
- 196th Homecoming–June 26th with our Conference Minister, Rev. David Ackerman, preaching.
- Vacation Bible School–June 27th through the 30th. 6 to 8 p.m.
