Prayer Angels Edition
This Sunday is an exciting one at Hill’s Church! Adult Sunday School will meet at 9 a.m. Worship is at 10:15 with Children’s Ministry dedication, some musical surprises, the Noisy Collection, and a sermon entitled “Grow Up!” (Mark 9:30-37). After worship all are invited to come over to the Steele Building for coffee hour and you are challenged to bring a snack that begins with a letter from a Book of the Bible–since we are dedicating our Sunday School and Children’s Ministry. What will you bring?
On Sunday evening, at 6 p.m., we are having our first meeting of the
Prayer Angels. We will read some scripture, maybe sing a song, and offer prayer for the needs of members and friends.
Monday night September 21 is Choir at 7.
Tuesday morning is Bible Study at 10 a.m.
Next Sunday: September 27 is Music Dedication Sunday & Picnic after worship across the street. You are again challenged to bring a picnic dish to pass that begins with a letter of the musical alphabet: A through G. A short Congregational Meeting has been called after worship to deal with three items of business: sealing the parking lot, the amount Consistory needs for Congregational Approval, and Consistory Quorum Size. Next Sunday evening is our first Confirmation Class of 2015-2016 from 6 to 8 p.m.
