Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
November 1 is All Saints Day and we will be reemembering all the saints of the church in our special service at 7 p.m. Saturday night in the cemetery. We will light candles, remember our friends and neighbors, and look toward the future when God will wipe away every tear from our eyes (Revelation 21:4).
On Sunday morning, November 2, we will have our weekly worship with an All Saints theme & communion at 10:15 a.m. We will read all the names of those whose services were performed by Hills in the last 12 months.
Following Sunday’s worship, Hill’s will be hosting the 2014 Fall Business Meeting of the Westmoreland Association on November 2 at 2:30 p.m. meeting at Hill’s and the program will feature a hymn program led by Rev. Bob McKie and Linda Dulaney, and a presentation by myself regarding our partnership with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines.
