Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
This Sunday, August 24th is our weekly worship. The message will be based on Romans 12 and is called “Breaking the Mold.” Keep on bringing in your collection of items for St. Paul’s Homes (prizes, personal items, word book puzzles and so on). and for the Blackburn Center–paper products. Thank you in advance!
Sunday afternoon, August 24th is our 2014 Prayer Walk at the High School Complex. We will meet at the Franklin Regional High School Parking lot at 1:45 p.m. The walk should take about 1 hour. Please feel free to invite neighbors/friends or relatives!
Blessing of the Backpacks will occur in worship on September 7th at 10:15 a.m.
An organizational meeting for all Youth of the church will occur on September 7 at 6 p.m.
Acolyte Training will be on September 14th after worship.
Saturday, September 27th is our next 10-10-10 Invitational Event: We will meet at 10 a.m. in the Upper Pavilion at Townshend Park. We will be having breakfast. See me if you would like to bring something. Come have a cup of coffee with your friends!
Wednesday, September 10th is our Planning Meeting at 6 p.m. for the 2014 “Fall Festival/Halloween Party” which will be on October 25 from 1-4 p.m. The theme this year is a block party, so we need some ideas of traditonal block party activities.
