Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Reformed Church,
This Sunday, July 6th, we will begin with our hymn sing for the summer and Bill Dulaney will be bringing the message: “Come Unto Me–For My Burden is Easy.” After worship, join your friends for a time of fellowship in the Steele Building.
Next Sunday, July 12th, I will be preaching on Romans 8 and the title of my message is “A Breath of Fresh Air.”
Looking to Strengthen Your Core this summer? On Saturday, July 19th at 10 a.m., we will be having our next Invitational Event which is called “10-10-10. “ In this small group event we will begin to look at our church’s 10 Core Values, 10 Core Practices and 10 Core Beliefs. This will transform how you think about your faith and how God is present in your life. The meeting will last until about 12 noon and there is an optional time for lunch at a local restaurant following our meeting. Hope to see you there!
Two ongoing mission projects are: the Collection for the Blackburn Center–there is a basket in the sanctuary and another in the Steele Building for the women’s shelter in Greensburg. In July we are collecting canned goods! The other project is donations for St. Paul’s Home Christmas in July. The table is in the front of the sanctuary for donations to the home such as books, tissues, lotions, etc. If you are moved to give, please do so!
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Joseph
