Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
We’re going to the Noah Movie on Friday! The movie time is 1 p.m. on Friday, April 11th at the Carmike Cinema in Delmont. We will meet you in the lobby at 12:45. If you need a ride or want more information call me at 412-956-5252.
Tomrrow night is the last Cluster Service of our Combined UCC Churches. We meet at Hill’s. Worship time is 7:30 p.m. Our preacher will be the Rev. Richard Lindsay-Bignell. We will be celebrating communion with our Interim Conference Minister, Char Burch. There will be a time of refreshment afterward in the Steele Building. Plan on bringing a snack to share.
Sunday is Palm Sunday! Worship is 10:15 a.m. and the Choir will be presenting a musical program entitled “The Way.” Confirmation meets Sunday night.
Plan ahead for Holy Week and Easter:
Maunday Thursday–April 17 is our Soup Supper with Communion Service following. Supper starts at 6:30. If you can bring a soup talk to Linda Dulaney.
Good Friday–Service at 7:30 p.m.
Easter Sunday–3 services. 6:30 a.m. Sunrise Community Service. 8 a.m.–Early worship with Communion. 10:15 a.m.–Late Service with Communion. Easter egg hunt for the children will follow the Late Service.
Easter Breakfast is from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. We need your help! If you can help out, even for 15 or 20 minutes, please talk to Pastor Joseph or Sandy Sinan.
