Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Reformed Church,
This Sunday is Ecumenical Sunday and many of our prayers come from the Worldwide Church. In addtion, Linda Dulaney and I have cooked up a little ‘surprise’ from the German Protestant church for you all. We are also collecting the Children’s Noisy Collection this week for a Ugandan Orphanage called Malayka House. You can watch a video of the story of Malayka House here.
As you may have already heard, I’ve been chosen to be one of the Penn West Ambassadors to the Philippines in the late spring. To those of you who have already given, thank you! Sunday, February 2, 2014: Boy Scout and “Souper Bowl” Sunday! Bring a donation of either cash or nonperishable for the Food Bank and your favorite kind of soup to share after worship.
