“Eye on Emmanuel” Weekly Update–January 9, 2014
Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Reformed Church,
It’s been a strange week with the cold and the odd weather. I hope that you are warm, safe, and dry and that your loved ones are too.
Sunday, January 12th brings us to the Baptism of Christ Sunday and Installation of Church Officers. The sermon is “Welcome Water.” Confirmation meets that eveing at 6 p.m.
Next week: Church Choir–Monday night at 7 p.m. NO Bible Study Tuesday, as I have a schedule conflict.
Upcoming Events:
January 26, 2014:–Adjourned Congregational Meeting following worship to vote on the 2014 proposed budget and receive year end reports. Please bring a dish to pass.
Sunday, February 2, 2014–It’s “Souper Bowl” Sunday! Bring a donation of either cash or nonperishable for the Food Bank and your favorite kind of soup to share after worship.
