We’ve had a busy schedule this week with the Secret Pal Party & Invitational Event. And we have some great things coming up!
Looking for a way to help out this holiday season? Hill’s Church is sponsoring donations for the Blackburn Center Women’s Shelter in Greensburg. Donations can be dropped off at the church or at the DiDomenico’s home–call the pastor for directions. You can find their needs list here. Point person on this is Christine DiDomenico. Tonight, December 6th is pre-teen & teen “Girl’s Night” at 6 p.m. It’s a cheesecake party and games.
Sunday, December 8th is the Second Sunday of Advent with worship at 10:15 a.m. I will be preaching on Isaiah 11–which says when the messiah comes “the wolf will lie down with the lamb.”
After worship on Sunday is the Church-wide Christmas party with caroling and a visit from St. Nicholas. If you would like your child to get a present from him, please have it wrapped and labeled so that he can give it to your child on Sunday.
Confirmation will meet at 6 p.m. on December 8th as well.
Next week:
Monday night is Choir.
Wednesday is Consistory.
Saturday, December 14th is the Children’s Program Practice from 2-4 p.m. If you would like your child to be in the Christmas program during worship on the 15th please plan on being at the practice the day before.
Sunday, December 15th is Worship at 10:15 a.m. With the Children’s Program during worship. Congregational Meeting to follow to vote on new members of Consistory.
