Happy Thanksgiving From Emmanuel Reformed Church!

Good morning,

Up here on the Hill, we hope that you are all safe, warm, and enjoying your time with friends and family.  For those of you in professions where you have to work over the holiday, we’re thinking about you and thanking you for the work you do.  Here are some events to get you in the spirit of Thanksgiving and Advent.

Saturday, November 30th–Hanging of the Greens at 9 a.m.  Volunteers are needed to help decorate the church santuary and the Steele Building.

Sunday, December 1st–Worship is at 10:15 a.m.  First Sunday of Advent: Hope.  Bill Dulaney is preaching and Logan and Heather Clark and Family will be lighting the Advent Candle.  Pointsettia order deadline and Covered Dish After Worship.

Monday, December 2nd–Choir Practice at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, December 3rd–Bible Study at 10 a.m.  Secret Pal Party at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, December 4th–Invitational Event–Taking Back Your Family’s Schedule at 6:30 p.m.  Covered dish & discussion group.

Friday, December 6th–Girl’s Night for Teens and Pre-teens at 6 p.m.

Next Sunday, December 8th–Second Sunday of Advent.  The Christmas party is after worship.  Bring a gift wrapped for your child to recieve from St. Nicholas.  Bring a covered dish as well.  We will have carols and pictures with Santa.  Confirmation is in the evening at 6 p.m.
