Good morning all,
There’s a couple of snow flurries up on the hill this morning! I hope you all
are having a nice Friday.
Tomorrow night is our “Trunk or Treat” Halloween Party from 6 to 8 p.m. Here’s
how it works: the parking lot will be our venue for the trunk or treating, with
various game stations around the church property. Decorate your car, self, etc
in your best Halloween Costume and park nose in. Put some candy in a bowl in
your trunk and we will send the kids around to “Trunk or Treat.” Awards will be
given for best decorated car, best costume in adult and child categories.
Remember, nothing too scary! This is family friendly. Games (bobbing for
apples, etc) are sponsored by the church. Bring a covered dish to pass for some
food. Got it? Great!
Sunday morning is Reformation Day worship. Wear red in honor of the day–Red
being the color of the Reformation and the Holy Spirit. Our Confirmation Class
meets Sunday night at 6 p.m.
November newsletters are ready. They will be available at church on Sunday in
hard copies. Soon, it will be on this webpage.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Joseph
