Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
Tomorrow morning is a work day at the cemetery to finish up the garage and various other ‘odd jobs’. Please plan on being there around 9 a.m.
Sunday is Back to School Sunday. We will have Blessing of the Backpacks during Children’s Time as well as the Baptism of Molly Mae Carroll. There will be a luncheon following the Baptism and everyone is invited to come and share with the Carroll family. The sermon will include a Presentation and is entitled, “Filling in the Empty Spaces,” based on Isaiah 58. Come and share in the joy!
Monday is our Trip to Rodef Shalom Biblical Gardens. We leave the church at 10 a.m. We will arrive in Oakland at about 11. The tour is free and we will stop for lunch somewhere on the way home.
Tickets are now on sale for the Invitational Event on Wednesday, September 18th at Hoss’, “Taking Back Your Family’s Schedule.” Cost is 30 dollars and it includes you and a guest.
