Hi all,
We are ready for our Ice Cream Cruise this year! It will be Sunday, August 18
at 12:00 Noon at the Gateway Clipper Fleet, 350 West Station Square Drive,
Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
We are joining together with other UCC Churches from our neighborhoods. Cost
is: Ages 12 and over $21 and children 12 and under are free! I MUST know of
your reservations by Monday, July 8th. So talk it over with your family and let
me know this weekend if you can join us for this annual tradition.
Thanks to everyone who helped make Homecoming so special. We had a visit from a
former pastor, Jacob Snyder (1834-1934), who told us his life story of walking
from church to church to bring the gospel. We also had a nice visit from Rev.
Richard Seigfried, our former interim pastor, who brought greetings from the
Conference for our benevolent offerings, and we even had a visit from Zoe the
poodle, who was the best behaved little dog who came to thank us for supporting
the Pet Adoption League in Yukon, PA! Thanks to everyone!!!!! Pictures can be

Next Sunday, July 7th, is the start of our Hymn Sing and since it’s a holiday
weekend, I’d invite you to bring some of your patriotic suggestions. We will
also be having our first of the month covered dish with a cook out using the
church grill. So bring along your appetites!
