Good Morning friends and Members of Emmanuel Church!
This weekend is the Annual Meeting of the Penn West Conference in Johnstown, which I and Ryan Lucas will be attending to represent our congregation. It is a meetup of the 100 or so UCC churches in Western Pennsylvania and a few in Northern Maryland. Please keep all those who have to travel to the conference in your prayers.
On Sunday, June 23, I will be preaching on Luke 7:36-8:3. The sermon will be regarding the Woman with the Alabaster Jar who anoints Jesus’ feet.
Next Week is Vacation Bible School!!! From Monday thru Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night. Our theme this year is service and the children will be learning how Jesus teaches us to serve others. You are welcome here, so bring the kids or grandkids along.
