Hello friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
We have some great things going on as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and what He means for our lives! He is risen!!!!
Sunday morning we will gather for adult Bible Study at 9 a.m. to discuss the Book of Revelation. At 10:15, our children will help us with leadership of worship in their program “Jesus: Then & Now.” They have some great stuff planned as well as a few surprises!
Following worship, I would invite you to stick around for a presentation sponsored by the Program Committee called “Mission: How our neighborhood has changed in 50 years.” I don’t need to tell you how things have changed in 50 years but we will be looking at how those changes impact our congregation and Christianity. Plan to bring a dish to pass and childcare will be provided.
Next week: Monday is choir practice at 7 p.m., Thursday is Bell Choir practice at 6:30 p.m., Saturday April 20th is PA Cleanways/Painting in the Social Room downstairs/Church work day. We start at 8 a.m with PA Cleanways and will move on to other tasks throughout the day.
