Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Reformed Church,

This Saturday is our Blood Drive from 9 to 3 with the Central PA Blood Bank. I hope you will consider coming out to help save lives through this powerful way of helping out. You do not need an appointment to donate blood.

Sunday is Palm Sunday at 10:15 a.m. We will share in the Waving of the Palms with the children. Following worship, the Stewardship Committee will meet in the pastor’s office.

Holy Week Observances start this week as well: On Maundy Thursday, we will have our soup and supper in the Steele Fellowship Building along with worship and Communion. The theme for Thursday night is “Communion By Numbers.” Everything begins at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, we will have our Good Friday Service at 7:30 p.m. This will be a reflective service on the last hours of our Lord.

Sunday morning will have three services: 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., & 10:15 a.m. 6:30 a.m. is our Sunrise Service in the Cemetery where we will be joined by our friends at Emmanuel Lutheran, Newlonsburg Presbyterian, and First United Methodist. Breakfast will be served in the church basement from 7 to 10. Bring your favorite dish along to share! At 8 & 10:15, we will share in Communion and in the telling of the resurrection story. Following the 10:15 service, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt on the Church lawn.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Joseph
