Dear friends and members of Hills Church,
We received word yesterday that Don ‘Jack’ Forgie passed away in Ohio after a fall last week. We know that the funeral service will be here at Wolfe-vonGeis on Saturday, February 23rd and there will be a time of fellowship afterwards in the church. We do not yet have information on the times or regarding visitation but will post them as soon as we know them. Please keep the Forgie family in your prayers.
Saturday morning, Feb. 16th, is a work morning at 9 a.m. in the Dining Hall Downstairs. If you have some time, bring a bucket and join us as we do some spring cleaning.
Sunday the 17th is the First Sunday in Lent. The theme for the Sundays in Lent is “The Last Words of Jesus from the Cross.” Sunday’s message is based on Jesus’ words: “Father, Forgive Them For They Know Not What They Do.” Following worship is a Stewardship Committee Meeting in the Sanctuary.
