Good morning friends and members of Emmanuel Church,
This Sunday’s worship will be shared with the Cub Scouts of Pack 213. We have a special worship service prepared regarding the theme of “Stone Soup.” If you are familiar with the story, a traveling man teaches a small town how to share their resources. We will be taking a page out of his book and sharing communion as well as having soup (you are encouraged to bring your own) for the social hour after worship. Additionally, since it is Super Bowl Sunday, we will be taking our Annual “Souper Bowl” Collection for the Westmoreland County Food Bank.
On Sunday, February 10th, we are having our First Ever–“Valentine’s Dinner Pasta Cook Off”. You can bring a dish to be judged, or bring anything you like, salads, bakery bread, desserts, and there will be a chance to vote for your favorite Italian Dish. Come on out for some friendly competition and some fun!
February 10th is also the deadline to talk to Carolyn Graham regarding tickets for the Franklin Regional High School Musical “Crazy for You.” Adults and seniors cost 10 dollars. Students cost 5 dollars. The performance that Hills is planning on going to as a group is on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
