Hello friends of Emmanuel Church,
Friday night is Murrysville Night of Lights in the town square, Old William Penn and Sardis Road from 6 to 8 p.m. Several of our members are involved in putting this together and I have been asked to offer an invocation. I hear there will be wassail, carols, snacks and a visit from St. Nick!
Saturday, December 1 is Hanging of the Greens, decorating of the church at 9 a.m. All the decorations are out of the attic and we need some people who can move some trees/decorations and have an eye for detail. Hope you can lend a hand.
Sunday morning is the First Sunday of Advent. Worship is at 10:15 and the sermon is called “Sign Language.” After worship is the Christmas party with a visit from Santa. (Parents bring a wrapped gift under 10 dollars for your child if you would like them to get a personalized gift from Santa.) Pictures will be taken. Bring a covered dish to pass.
Tuesday, December 4th is the deadline for Pointsettia orders. Please give your order to Linda Dulaney or Heidi Compton. The Secret Pal Christmas Party is Tuesday Evening at 6:30 p.m.
