Good morning friends and members of Hills Church,
On Saturday morning, a group of volunteers will gather at 8 a.m. to work on the
back door ramp and various other projects. If you can spare some time, we’d
love to have you involved!
Sunday’s worship theme will be “That Old Time Religion” with special music by
Linda Dulaney, Shawn and Casey Hanks and the Heddens. The sermon will focus on Jesus’ words in John 6: “I am the Bread of Life.” Time of the service is
10:15 a.m.
On August 19th, we will collect the Noisy Collection with the children. We will
also have a Stewardship Committee Presentation following worship. Everyone is
invited to take part.
Don’t forget Vacation Bible School–“America’s Got Culture”–from Monday, August
20 to Wednesday, August 22; 6 to 9 p.m. On Wednesday evening you are all
invited for our special “Share and Tell” Talent Show. You don’t have to be a
child to participate in the talent show or even part of VBS. All are invited to
be either a participant or an audience member. Come check it out!
