Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well and keeping cool in this brutal heat. Please pray for those folks who don’t have power, those who have to work outside in this weather, and those who are most affected by the heat. Hopefully, we will soon get a break.
Thanks to Bill Dulaney and to all who helped to lead worship last weekend, since I was away! This Sunday’s sermon is based on Mark 6–Jesus’ sending out the disciples to minister–the sermon title is “Ready or not here I come!” We will also celebrate a new chapter in the lives of three of our friends who will be joining the church. Plan on attending to wish them well and witness their joining Emmanuel.
