Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
On Tuesday evening George Pees passed away at Hamilton Hills in Turtle Creek. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5th at the Church. Internment will follow at Twin Valley in Delmont and there will be a luncheon at the church following the services. Please keep the family of George in your prayers this week.
Sunday morning is Trinity Sunday and Graduate Sunday. At 10:15, we will celebrate our worship service and after worship we will have our ‘first Sunday of the month’ covered dish and recognition of June birthdays and anniversaries.
June 18-20 is “Culture Shock” Vacation Bible School (Part I) from 6 to 9 p.m. (Part II is in August before the children go back to school.) There is a sign up sheet on the office door for interested families who want to attend. Children will learn about Christian mission and ministry in different places around the world.
