Good morning Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
Tonight is the National Day of Prayer at 6:30 p.m. at the Export American Legion. The Murrysville-Export-Delmont Churches will gather to sing praise to God, pray for our nation and our world. Hope to see you then.
Sunday, May 6th is Communion at 10:15. We will be hearing the Biblical story of Acts Chapter 8, the Baptism of the Ethopian Eunuch. After worship will be our May covered dish–with recognition of anniversaries and birthdays for the month of May. We will also be having a short Acolyte training meeting for all interested children after worship.
PA Cleanways is May 12th at 9 a.m. That is a Saturday morning and we usually finish before lunch. We pick up trash along Hills Church Road from the church down to the cross roads in Export.
Sunday, May 13th is Mother’s Day and we have a special Mother’s Day program during the worship time. After worship, we will also be having a meeting for volunteers who are interested in helping out with this year’s Vacation Bible School (June 18th to 20th; 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
