Hello friends,
Easter is almost upon us! Spring seems to be peeking up all around and the
church is gearing up for some very exciting events.
First, this Saturday is the Blood Drive from 9 to 3 p.m. If you want to make an
appointment, check out our website but walk-ins are welcome. I hope you will
make a considered decision regarding giving blood.
Sunday, April 1 is Palm Sunday and the Choir Cantata. The children will
participate in the distribution of the Palms and after worship will be the first
of the month covered dish and recognition of April birthdays.
Thursday evening is the Maundy Thursday supper and service. Supper is 6:30 p.m.
We will meet in the Steele building and will share in an informal Communion
Service.
Friday evening is the Good Friday Service at 7:30 p.m.
Easter Sunday has three services: a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. (with
partnering neighborhood churches), an 8 a.m. service and 10:15. 8 & 10:15 a.m.
will have communion. Breakfast will be in the lower level of the church
building from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Volunteers are always appreciated.
