A look at the Calendar for the Upcoming weeks:
September 10–Please join me in wishing the best for our friends William Mountz and Danielle
Gorbel, who will be married at Hill’s on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.!
Sunday, September 11–Sunday morning’s worship is based on Exodus 14:19-31, the very famous story of
the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. The sermon title is: “When Moses Led.” After worship will be a Rally Day kick-off and tailgate party, so bring along
the food you like to ring in the autumn and the start of the NFL season.
September 12–Choir Practice begins Monday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
September 13–Tuesday morning is Bible
Study at 10 a.m.–we are studying Deuteronomy.
September 14–Consistory is Wednesday at 7.
Thursday, September 15th–MOOK (Meaningfully Obeying Our King) will meet at 7 p.m. at Norwalk Daily
Grind.
Sunday, September 25th–Looking ahead, Emmanuel’s Emergent Experience is at 6:30 p.m.
with a Coffee Hour and prayer 1 hour prior. The lesson is Colossians 2: “Substance and Shadows”.
September 30th–On Friday, September 30th, we will be taking our “Christmas In July” Collection
up to St. Paul’s Retirement Home in Greenville. Please contact me if you’d like
to go up with me and we will have a tour and lunch. We leave at 8 a.m.
October 9th–Emmanuel Reformed is also participating in the Murrysville Area CROP Walk on
Sunday Afternoon October 9. We start at Calvary Lutheran Church at Old William
Penn and School Road. We need walkers and SPONSORS who will help us raise money
for the hungry. Talk to me if you are interested in walking.
