Good morning friends of Emmanuel Church,
Whew! Last week was a busy one with the Vacation Bible School and the launch of
“Emmanuel’s Emergent Experience,” a new worship service being offered the last
Sunday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
Tomorrow is the Golf Outing which supports Camp Living Waters. I hope you will
pray for the ministry of Living Waters and that the experiences of the children
and adults this summer will be positively remembered for many years to come, and
bear fruit.
This Sunday is worship at 10:15 a.m. The sermon is from 1 Kings 19, when Elijah
goes up to Mount Horeb to complain to God about being the ‘only faithful person
left’.
Next Wednesday night is consistory. Next Thursday is MOOK at the Lucas’ home at
7:30. We will be discussing the movie version of the Da Vinci Code. If you
