This Sunday’s sermon title is: Paul’s Plan for Progress, based on 1 Corinthians Chapter 3. As those of you who have been in Bible Study with me will know, Paul’s writings are some of my favorite scripture to mine for deeper meaning. So I hope to see you on Sunday!!!!!
You are invited to the next Youth Outing–Ice Skating on February 27th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Center Ice in Delmont.
Hill’s Church is to host the World Day of Prayer this year and we need to provide light refreshments. The date of the worship service is Friday, March 4th at 1 p.m. If you can bring some refreshments or wish to participate in the service with a reading or two, please let me know.
Ash Wednesday is right around the corner. Our service to begin Lent is on March 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Family Day is at Hill’s Church on March 12th. It will be a day of Games, Crafts, activities and sharing.
On the first Sunday of Lent, March 13, 2011, we will be having a multimedia presentation of the Bible According to the Music of:
a. U2
b. Johnny Cash
c. The White Stripes, or
d. Sufjan Stevens.
