Weekly Update–Friday, November 12th

Good morning Everyone,

It is a beautiful November morning in Western Pennsylvania and we’re preparing for some great events in the next few weeks.

First, Sunday at 10:15 is worship. I’m going to be preaching on the Holy Mountain of the Lord from Isaiah 65:17-25.

Next Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. is Bible Study and we are starting the Book of Revelation. So, if you are interested in Bible Study but felt a little apprehensive about starting in the middle of something, this may be the time for you to begin! Anyone is welcome to Bible Study.

Wednesday, November 17th is an exciting new event which is being co-planned by Christian Ed. A St. Martin’s Day celebration is planned for 6 p.m. On that night we will share German food (bring a favorite dish if you want), make a craft, have pony rides and sing some songs. This is an all ages event–but it would be especially meaningful for the youngest ones in your families. So, if you have a niece, nephew, grandchildren, whatever, bring them along for the most unique of parties!

Remember that Franklin-Regional High School is performing the play “The Woman in White” on November 18th, 20th and 21st.

Hill’s Church will be represented at Red Stone Highlands on November 21st at 2:30 in the afternoon, where I will be leading worship for the residents.

Many blessings to you all.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Joseph
