Thursday Morning Update–October 7, 2010

Good morning friends,

I have quite a few announcements for you this morning that I would like to share:

Saturday is the benefit dinner for John Mahoy’s benefit dinner at the
American Legion in Export from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. John Mahoy is Julie Keibler’s brother and is struggling with cancer. You can get take- outs or can have a sit down dinner of spaghetti and meatballs and the cost is adults 6 dollars, children 2-12 are 3 dollars and under 2 are free. You can also contribute through First Commonwealth Bank.

Third, the CROP Walk is Sunday. Some of us from Hills will be walking to raise awareness of the issue of hunger in our community and around the world. More information can be found here.

Sunday’s worship is entitled “99 and 44/100% Pure” and is based on Luke 17:11-19.

Fourth, our Discussion Group/Bible Study is meeting Thursday Night, October 14th at 7 p.m. at the Norwalk Daily Grind. Our topic of discussion is the experience of God in our lives.

Grace and Peace to you this week,

Pastor Joseph
