Good morning, friends!
This is a beautiful week in Western Pennsylvania! And we have some wonderful upcoming plans here at Hills Church.
Thanks to Chris Ericson for putting together the prayer walk last Sunday. It was a nice time. As one of the folks from the other church that attended said, “We are small but mighty.” And indeed we were.
This Sunday is Holy Communion at 10:15. Afterward, we will have a social hour celebrating the September birthdays with some lunch. The theme for the lunch is ‘tailgating’ so if you have a favorite tailgating dish, bring it along!
On September 12 is Rally Day. Our Sunday School time for young children will be during the worship hour, after the Children’s Sermon. The theme for the fall is the Prophets of the Old Testament.
Again, I would remind you that we are planning to walk in the CROP Walk on 10-10 in the afternoon. If you would like to walk to raise money for the hungry in Murrysville and throughout the world, please see me.
