Good morning everyone,
It looks to be a beautiful weekend in Murrysville. The fireman’s carnival continues this week, with fireworks on Friday night at 11 p.m. The temperature is supposed to be near 90 this weekend.
Last Sunday was graduate Sunday and we recognized all the graduates and even had two with us in worship–Ryan Paul Lucas and Christopher Edward Molnar. We all had a time of cake and fellowship after worship.
On Saturday, we are going to have our work party again at 9 a.m. to weed the flower beds, etc. (We got rained out last time.)
Sunday is Father’s Day.
Next Sunday, June 27th is our 190th Homecoming Celebration with Communion. There was an article in the Penn Franklin News yesterday all about it.
Please keep Christine Ericson, our Christian Education director, in your prayers. Her mother passed away suddenly on June 11 in New York State.
Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of all comfort;
Deal Graciously, we pray, with those who mourn;
That casting all their care on you,
They may know the consolation of your love;
