Thursday Morning Update

Good morning folks,

First, I would remind you of the work day on Saturday morning, this Saturday, at about 9 a.m. to weed the beds and clean up around the sign, etc at the Church.  Please feel free to bring your own gardening tools and pitch in!

Sunday is Pentecost Sunday with Communion.  Pentecost is the Sunday when we remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the church.  If you remember, wear something red, which is the traditional color representing the Holy Spirit.

Bertha King is home from the hospital and she is well on the mend.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Next, not all of my emails for the Thursday morning group have been going out–a few have been returned to me as undeliverable.  Please let me know if you hear of someone who is not getting this email update and would like to.

Thanks to all the people who have been working so hard on the Honor Roll sign and a reminder: if you know of any member’s names that should be added, please contact either myself or the church office.

Finally, I’ve been making my way around Murrysville and Export for a while now–I know where Dick’s Diner is and how to travel on Berlin Farm Road (!)–and have been enjoying getting to meet and visit with many of you.  Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you hear of someone who would like a visit ( or if you yourselves would like me to come and visit with you).  That is a very important part of my ministry and I would very much appreciate to hear your suggestions/etc, on folks to visit.  Please call me at the office: 724-327-0033.  Or my cell number: 412-956-5252.

Blessings to you all.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Joseph
