Good Morning,
Another beautiful day and we have flowers blooming in the garden, which gives us evidence of new life. As we approach Easter those blooms help us to remember the new life we receive through Jesus Christ.
Last evening we continued our cluster worship at First UCC in Harrison City. Next Wednesday we will be worshipping at Hills Church for the last Mid-week Lenten Service. We will have a cluster choir for the anthem and we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion. I trust we will have a good attendance. We will need donations of food for the fellowship time after the service.
I was so sorry to hear that Leona Duncan had a stroke and was in the Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh. She has since been transferred to Forbes Regional Rehab Center. Please keep her in your prayers.
I am keeping busy preparing for Holy Week and Easter Community Sunrise Services will be held outdoors at Hills beginning at 6:30 a.m. Area Clergy will be participating. Bring your flashlights as it will be dark when we begin. Easter breakfast will begin in the church dinning hall at 7:00 a.m. Help and donations will be needed, sign up on the church office door.
Easter Sunday Communion Services will be at 8:00 and 10:15 a.m.
