Good Morning,
It’s good to be back from Cancun. It was a shock leaving 80 degree weather and coming home to -2.
I was very happy to hear that the vote was unanimous and Pastor Hedden accepted your call to be Pastor. I know that Hills Church and Pastor Hedden is a good match. During the next three months I will be doing all I can to make a good transition. I really feel that the Holy Spirit was at work in sending Pastor Hedden to Hills Church.
In the meantime there will be a lot going on at the Church. We will be joining the Cluster of churches for Mid Week Lenten Services. We will begin with Ash Wed. Service at Hills Church on Feb. 17th at 7:30 p.m.
Every Tuesday during Lent Chris will hold a Bible Study, which highlights the Lenten Theme. The Bible Study begins on Tuesday, Feb. 16th, and I believe there will be donuts.
Don’t forget worship on Sunday, we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Since it is the first Sunday of the month there will be a covered luncheon and the celebration of Feb. birthdays and anniversaries.
