Dear Friends and Members of Emmanuel Church,
It’s a sunny autumn day on God’s hill! We’ve been visited by a few deer, some chipmunks who are collecting for the winter, some squirrels and a number of birds.
This Sunday we will join Rabbi Lenny and members of his congregation for an outdoor service. Service time is 10:15 a.m. Bring a lawn chair, a singing voice, and open ears. You can also bring a dish to pass for lunch afterwards.

Sunday, October 12 is has worship at 10:15 and The CROP walk at the Pavilion at Duff Park at 1:30 p.m.. Joseph will be representing Hill’s and you are invited to come alongside. We are also taking monetary donations and food collections for the event. Here is a link to donate to CROP.
Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. is the 300th Anniversary of the German Reformed Church. We will share in a worship service at St. John’s Harrolds UCC, 103 St. John’s Church Rd., Greensburg PA 15601. Participating will be David Ackerman, our Conference Minister; Bob Kruel, pastor at St. John’s; Richard Seigfried, Emmanuel’s Interim Pastor Emeritus; Liddy Barlow, Executive Director of Christian Associates of Southwest Pennsylvania; Joseph Hedden, and several others.
Get your tickets now for Emmanuel’s Oktoberfest! October 18 at 4 p.m. October themed entertainment will be provided by the Good Times Big Band. Tickets for show and dinner is $20 per person.
October 19th is Game Day at 2 p.m. Come along and bring a game, a friend, a snack!! We had a full crew last time and needed to push more tables together. Come along for the fun!
