Blue skies greet us this morning on God’s hill. Here’s what’s going on in our part of the forest:
This Sunday, September 14—Worship with Communion.
We gather with our friends and neighbors for worship this Sunday. Choir meets at 9 to practice. Worship is at 10:15, with the very difficult text of Genesis 22 (Abraham and Isaac, seen left) for preaching. And after worship you are invited to fellowship and snacks and/or to help us tie a prayer blanket.
September 21—Worship and Game Day. Text: Jacob’s Ladder. Game Day starts at 2 p.m.
Sunday, September 28—Worship. Text: God’s Name and Burning Bush
Sunday, October 5—Outdoor Service & Rabbi Lenny
We’re inviting our friends from Congregation Emmanu-el Israel to visit with us and Rabbi Lenny will bring the message regarding the Jewish High Holy Days.
Sunday, October 12— Worship (God’s Call of Samuel) with Communion. CROP Walk
