Weekly Update–November 21, 2019

It’s a frosty Thursday on God’s hill!  We have quite a bit of things going on as we move into the holiday season.
Tonight is our TRANSFORMATION TASK FORCE which deals with Emmanuel’s 200 year history and where we are called by God to go in future.

On Friday night, the YOUTH GROUP is attending SKY ZONE in Monroeville trampoline park from 9 to 11 p.m.  Cost is $20 per person (if there is a problem with funding, let Pastor Joseph know.  We don’t want anyone to stay home due to lack of funds.). Age is 8 and up, which is set by SKY ZONE.  Sounds like fun!
This Sunday is the last Sunday of the series, “What’s in a Name?”  We will round out our series with the story of King Josiah, who reformed the religion and spirituality of the people of Israel 600 years before Jesus.

On December 1st after worship, we will be having the church Christmas party in the Steele building.  Bring a covered dish to pass.  (And a present if you would like your child to receive one from St. Nicholas when he visits.  You can place them in the church office on the morning of the party.)

Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving week and see you in church!
